Rain... as soon as I mention sun and colour the next day it rains.. now its looking like Branagh's Skane.....
Ystad is a 'polygot' of different building styles (i can't think of a similar suitable architecture equivalent..).
It slightly reminds me of an eastern European town or city in as much as the buildings off the main streets become much more vernacular.. Development occurs where necessary.. the main streets develops first.... but all the buildings have been well maintained.
It also has a level of urban structure I wasn't expecting. I like that the port fronts the town with the train station along side.. both are right at the heart of the town rather than ignored.
I couldn't find the police station though.....
