The Road to Vilnius, Lithuania...17th June

A straight forward drive from Riga to Vilnius.. in fact very straight....

The Romans stopped in Germany and the Danube....

I carry on stopping as necessary.... Seeing old Russian planes parked in a small open museum is all the incentive I need.. 

I think I know which models these are...

Have arrived in Vilnius.....

Unpacked, rested and a short walk in the late evening with the dying of the light...

I can hire a bike from the hotel, so will rest my foot and cycle through the city tomorrow..
Cyclists are a priority, at least in the old town...
