Driving through Skane district on the way to Ystad, I came across another castle, Marsvinsholm Stott...The out-buildings are now converted into residential units but the exteriors remain unadulterated.. only being a little nosy does it become apparent that they have been converted... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marsvinsholm_Castle
Henning Mankel lived in Ystad during the 1980's and the a film studio was set up in Ystad to produce the Swedish and Kenneth Branagh Wallander series. The Skane countryside is beautiful but whereas the Branagh series were often filmed in winter to get that bleached look, the colours now are amazing.
Close by is the shell of an 11C church, someone else will have to translate the noticeboard.. My Swedish is as good as all other of my other languages....
