Glamsbjerg, Denmark. 8 - 9th June

A stop to catch up with an old school friend who I haven't seen since he moved to Denmark in 1992...
Wonderful to see him and family... and the cat..
I've had a tour of Glamsbjerg, a small town of approximately 2000 but serving a wider community. The local schools are high including the higher educational Gymnasium. The town has a library, cinema, lido, sports centre, football clubs, other sports clubs, all to serve the community. The roads are well maintained without the normal 'tank traps' found on roads in England and people move calmly through the space... I imagine that its tough living here...

Making sure that essential supplies from England are stockpiled.. Marmite from England...

Creative use of a drainpipe to connect a lense to the camera.... (it works!)

Well designed Danish furniture..
