A Saturday.. so will be a quiet day for me...
I decided after yesterday's excursion that I would aim for the Loos American Bar (more to follow) in the old city and then spend the afternoon in the Stadtpark, reading.
In the city, on Wollzeile (street) I went into Morawa, a great bookshop with a section of English books and novels...
This street has two bookshops so if in Vienna and you need something to read visit Wollzeile.
I can't yet get into the books I have brought with me; maybe later... I needed a little light reading... This would do the job..
Only kidding... I bought another copy of Persuasion.. comfort in knowing the book, but can still find it wonderful to read...
Missing the main streets, and the groups of tourists being dragged from one place to another I walked further into the centre..

I think, the house is where Mozart was staying when writing The Marriage of Figaro |

I liked this square...Franziakanerplatz |
When I was five or six, I had a pair of lederhosen.. I remember them well (not sure where they came from; maybe Denmark..) together with a black sou'wester top and trousers. My sisters had the same in yellow and red...
Perhaps the trauma of wearing both of these have left an imprint on me.. trying to get the tight sou'wester over my head always gave me horrible claustrophobia.....

I left the centre and walked down to Stadtpark.. sat on a bench and read Persuasion in the shade... and dropped off...
