Leaving Salzburg.. torrential rain...
Rain.. roadworks... detours through a village.. but on the motorway.. heavy rain.. more roadworks... drive past the Chiemsee, beautiful... another detour and stop... but on the motorway.. sunshine, then torrential rain.. all the time skirting the alps on my left.. Another stop.
One final detour through the Bavarian hills rising to 2250 ft.. the highest the car has been in 6 weeks.
Finally the approach into Munich, sunshine and arrival at the hotel..
